Any Good?

I thought it was horrible. It's nothing like the book. THey should re-make it, after reading the book.

I found it mediocre. The acting was okay, but the movie was devoid of the subtleties, complexities, and character development characteristic of Dean Koontz's books. In all fairness to those who made this film, I must add that most people who try to film Koontz's novels fail because his novels have too many complexities which cannot be translated adequately to film. I really think that the only visual medium which could do justice to a typical Dean Koontz novel is a lengthy TV miniseries.

I've never read the book myself but the movie is okay. Some good acting and a few scary moments. Other than that, it is simply okay.

I forgot all about this movie until today at work, we unloaded some inventory we purchased from a storage unit. There was once box filled with factory sealed VHS tapes of this movie. Maybe I will take one home later this week and get back to you. In the meantime, when this was coming out, anyone else remember anytime Victoria Tennant made an appearance on tv, all the interviewers cared about was how her and Steve Martin were doing?
