Christopher Plummer = '5hitty'

What kind of a name is that for a character?

reply

Watch the movie and you will understand.

I think it comes across as callous in the film as well however.

reply

It is indeed callous in the film, as it would be in real life to refer to a human that way.

Is all of Christopher Plummer's dialogue dubbed in this film, and is it dubbed with his voice or someone else's? There's a real disconnect between his mouth and the sound.

reply

This plot element is why the movie was not-well regarded by critics when it first came out.

Siskel and Ebert didn't say anything about Plummer in their TV review, but maybe you're right.

I thought it was interesting that Plummer was playing a homeless magician, which is essentially the same role he played 30 years later in Terry Gilliam's "Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus." I'm probably one of the only people who has seen both of those movies tho, lol.

Did I not love him, Cooch? MY OWN FLESH I DIDN'T LOVE BETTER!!! But he had to say 'Nooooooooo'
