"That baby died, Dinky" is definitely one of the most heartbreaking lines ever - even though in retrospect it was obvious that Roxy was not her mother it was still shattering to hear Denton break the bad news to her.

shareI think it's her best performance ever, even better than in "Heathers" (the best overall movie she's ever been in) or the two movies for which she received Oscar nominations ("The Age of Innocence", "Little Women"). Take Winona out of this movie, and what's left is only a little bit better than a decent made-for-TV movie. Instead, it's one of my top five (about neck-and-neck with "The Fault In Our Stars" for #3).
