death of a film legend - Mr. Altman - thanks for the wonderful movies

Not sure if anyone here has heard - but Robert Altman died yesterday. I think Vincent & Theo is one of the finest (if not the finest) Van Gogh movies ever made - and even if he had just directed this one film - he would still be a hollywood legend. His work, thankfully, lives on - and you can't ask for much more of a legacy than the quality of work he produced.

So sorry he never did a director's commentary on this film. There's a good making of addition on the DVD & he's great in it but it only made me want to hear him talk about it more and in greater detail.
