Romeos was Good. Argentino was not.

First was Romeo's film and I enjoyed it. Then came Argentino. (I am fasinated by Argentino's work - not only are the films crap but everyone loves them.)

I couldn't watch The Black Cat - It was too disturbing. I felt sick after 20 or so minutes. I had to turn it off. The Guy killing the cat and then the woman in the bath full of blood. I felt sick!

I have a hard time listening to the opinion of anyone who thinks George's name is "Romeo". I thought the title of the post was a typo, but since this error is repeated I think not.

If you can't take the killing of a cat and a woman in a bath of blood, then you shouldn't be critical of any horror movie.

It's Romero and Argento (A Horror Movie)

Not

Romeo and Argentino (A Love Story? :)

Wrong on both counts.

Well, to be fair, some of Argento's films are crap e.g. PHANTOM OF THE OPERA), but his fans don't love them; they lament that he isn't making great stuff like he used to in the '70s.

"The Black Cat" episode is much better than Romero's "Valdemar," which feels padded to fill up the running time. The film concevied as a three-part anthology, with episodes running closer to a half-hour.

Romeo and Argentino, that gave me a chuckle.

Argentino? Romeo?

OP is retarded. IT WAS DISTURBING, so that's why it was BAD? This is the horror genre, you schmuck. Any movie that disturbs me is automatically good in my book. Maybe you should watch Pixar films if being disturbing makes you turn a film off. Either that, or man the *beep* up.

Unless this is a troll post. In that case, well-played, sir. Well-played.

I just finished watching the old grimy VHS release of this movie, and it was an ass-kicking experience. =D I need to buy the Blue Underground Special Edition DVD sooner or later! Anyway, it's nice to see inspired output from 2 horror film directors who weren't senile at one point. I haven't watched Argento's Giallo yet, but La Terza Madre was nothing short of horrible and embarrassing. As for Romero, i couldn't even bring myself to finish watching Survival Of The Dead. Enough said... goodnight!

Why do you care about the cat? Its just a friggin cat, Meow!!! Meow!!! A CAT!!!

Yeah I worry for Romero after watching the intro to Bruiser on Netflix.. I actually really like his last three zombie movies because they feel more like real people and they're the pretty much the opposite of the first three in scope. Just starting to get *beep* with all the stupid zombies erywhere "hey they're ugly shoot the sonsofbitches" "I feel pretty oh so pretty", the hills are alive with the sound of DARIO ARGENTO'S OPERA

Funiest post ever: "Romeo and Argentino."
LOL. I can't stop laughing.

Romeo lmao.

As for Argentino yeah he's a hack. One of the worst filmmakers that ever lived. Dario Argentini is so un-original he even stole Dario Argento's name and slightly changed it.

Damn you Argentino

Quentin Targentino's Pulp Dogs, have you seen it?

Both segments are very good, but I actually prefer the Black Cat segment slightly more.
