I saw someone else posted here to help with another pirate movie and maybe someone could help me aswell.

I remember it was Treasure island, but theres been so many releases of it on movies that i dunno where to begin, maybe this was the one i saw, but i couldnt find any information about what i remembered from this movie.

Anyway, what i do remember:

Jim was alone on the ship after they got to the island and the mutiny with another guy, they chased eachother and jim ended up ontop of the mast with one gun and he managed to shoot the other guy and he fell in the sea.

I remember Ben Gunn had removed the treasure from where it originally was to a cave.

I also remember long john silver managed to escape with a small portion of the treasure after the ship had set sail on a liferaft.

Can anyone help me find the correct movie?

I saw it on norwegian television some time ago maybe 8-10 years ago.

This is the movie you're wondering about. I just saw it last night and thought it was fantastic! Was surprised it was a TV movie, surprised to see Christian Bale in a great early role.

Yeah found out myself, downloaded it and watched it again. i was happy to finally find it. Tho i was afraid that once i saw the movie again it would be bad since alot of things one watches as a kid was great then but when you get older you realize how lame it is, but this movie held its charm damn good.

The first two items you mention were in the original book, and therefore are in most of the movie adaptations.

The scene of Silver escaping in a boat versus some other method (as in the book) was used in this version, but at least one other that I remember.
