It's such a shame that beautiful women have to age.

she did look incredible in TR (and of course 2y later in BI)

when 1st saw her in the Total Recall starlog special magazine (too young to see the movie back then) she looked like a far more beautiful version of the generic blonde woman of that era (the likes of madonna, various 80s Bond and Indiana Jones girls etc, even Kim Basinger and michelle pfeiffer) .. like the absolute top tier. then later realised she was the girl on the cover of the King Solomons Mines vhs (never saw the actual film quite recently)

I agree with most of what you said, but Michelle Pfeiffer is not generic looking. She was also top tier around that time, maybe moreso than Sharon Stone. I think she was facially more beautiful, but Stone had the better body.

yeah maybe, in fact MP refused the Basic Instinct role which then went to SS ..

I guess Kim Basinger and MP were like the top tire 80s blonde movie stars and then SS joined them for the 90s and the fact she was 'new' made her more exciting

Have to say she is really great in this, and she debuted the whole modern active wear look pretty well back then.

Hahaha rewatched it recently and thought the same thing: she had NEVER been hotter than it this movie. She was at her peak here.
