2012 TR cast & crew calling the 1990 film kitsch

If true they shouldn't said, it isn't so much proving one is better than the other as just attracting angry words and ridicule, it's like if you made a OK remake of The Godfather and said it's 10 times better than the original, it's one thing if it's coming from critics but when it's coming from the stars and filmmakers it's not so much making fans and audiences flock to the cinemas but inducing eye rolls.
