I would've thought he would be early/mid 40's, seems like people in their mid 30's back then looked a lot older than people in their mid 30's today.

Michael Chiklis was only in his late 20s playing a police commissioner with a teenage son in the Commish. Never underestimate how someone balding can be made to look and act significantly older.

People use to dress and act more mature, but as far as looks are concerned it's always been the same...

Most people look about their age. Some look younger, some look older, then a rare amount will look either drastically older or younger.

As for April's boss Charles I always thought he was at the very least 40
