Did anyone find it difficult to watch the Shredder smack Splinter in the face?

Yeah sort of but its not as bad knowing what happens at the end of the movie.

I thought seeing what happens to the Shredder at the end of the movie was hilarious, especially Casey Jones' reaction afterwards.

Never thought much of it as a child, but I appreciate it more as an adult the portrayal of Saki's violent cruelty.

I always jokingly say that part is much too graphic

Well that might the reaction they're going for, Shredder is evil and he was pissed that the turtles were besting his men.
