That gargoyle looked too goofy to be menacing (nm)

I thought it was decent, nothing special. Looked too much like a gremlin from "Gremlins" though!
shareIt actually creeped me out as a kid, and still kinda weirds me out today. Especially during the initially killing, when it's left most in the darkness.
Take'em all, take'em all, put'em up against the wall and shoot'em

it made me laugh when it talked (with its head bobing all over the place)- it's head movements cracked me up- espcially at the end - The Line "And i loved you too" had me rolling.
shareI thought it looked like the alien from "Mac & Me" with some wings stuck on the back. Goofy looking as heck.

No, it was pretty freaky.

I admit it still creeps me out. Yes its a little goofy by today's standards, but it was well-done in its time.
The story itself & the cinematography make it scarier than it should be, much like the "Paranormal Activity" films.
"I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus."
"Didn't he discover America?"
"Penfold, shush."
would have been much worse if they had used CGI. I give them credit for going practical. and things that are goofy looking can be downright terrifying under the right circumstances i.e. clowns.
shareGiven that CGI didn't exist when this movie was made, the choice to use practical effects was an easy one!
