Biggest thing that bothered me in the film...

Everytime Jackie or Terry drink whiskey from a bottle or flask, it's Seagrams 7, a popular brand no doubt and very good for low level whiskey, but its CANADIAN!

Every single time they drink a Beer, usually its Heineken, I think you see a Bud in Jackie's apartment.

Why aren't they drinking Irish whiskey and Irish beer? Is it an authentic portrayl, and the NY Irish really just completely turned on Bushmills and Jameson because they were more expensive? Or did Seagrams beverage company like pay to have their product featured? I just kept noticing it, and it didn't really "bother" me until they buried Frankie with a flask of Seagrams 7 in his pocket, thats got to be like bad voodoo planting an Irish with canadian spirits, even if it was his favorite.

They were Irish alcoholics; they drank whatever was cheap and available. :P
