How can get this film released on DVD?
Any ideas or news about work being done for a DVD release of Stanno Tutti Bene?
I was able to rent it here in Italy two weeks ago by the biggest american chain (you know it...). In this DVD version was available also english 5.1 and subtitles... don't know if you will be able to find it at your place...
AND YES, IT IS A MASTERPIECE. (10/10).
I have been checking on ibs.it (Italian website) for two years waiting for a chance to order the dvd and I believe that there just isn't one out there anywhere.
Also, there isn't a dvd of 'Story of Boys and Girls' Storia di ragazzi e di ragazze by Avati Pupi.
You would think that they would release all films of Pupi and Tornatore on dvd since they are two of the most famous directors in Italy!
Since they are not available in Italy yet, my guess is that it will be a very long time till we see them here in the USA.

It's coming to DVD!!!
Yesterday I mailed Medusa about it and they replied that it will come out next year! So I feel happy.
There is also a remake coming, rumored to star Robert De Niro and Kate Winslet. As much as I admire these actors, I don't believe they can remake a Tornatore film. Can hollywood give us such a director, composer and experience like the Italian version?
Good news about the DVD release. Such a neglected film. News of the proposed remake reminds me that years ago they were going to remake Cinema Paradiso with Bruce Willis and Macauley Culkin. It didn't happen,fortunately.

shareAccording to the link below, Miramax has licensed out a good amount of titles from their catalog to be released onto DVD and possibly Blu-Ray by Wisconsin-based DVD company Echo Bridge Home Entertainment. There's a good chance this could be one of those Miramax titles to see a new DVD (and possibly Blu-Ray) release.

I was looking desperately to find a DVD here in N America. No luck!
I was forced to buy a copy of Una Simple Formalidad, spoken in French only with Spanish subtitles. Not perfect, but better than nothing.
But this movie lacks even this availability. There are only PAL, region 2 DVDs for sale on Amazon. That's outrageous!
