My older brother used to get me to watch movies growing up. ONes like Slumber Party Massacre, Hard to Die (with virtually the same cast as SHM2), Slaughterhouse, Dead Alive, Mom, and many others. SHM2 is great, because it isn't. I love Melissa Moore.
shareI agree with you. When I was a kid, I loved trashy straight-to-video low-budget movies like this. I used to watch them all the time on Cinemax and HBO. But after growing up... my love affair with this movie has never lessened. I adore this film! And I think that's because there's something really good about it. Don't know what, can't always point it out. But, I feel it. I love the death scenes (the blood squirting on the walls may not be "gory," but I love it! It looks great!), the dialogue is pretty entertaining, it's creepy, the score (spooky music) is great, and Orville Ketchum! They don't get any better than him. Forget Angela Baker- she can't hold a candle to this guy! I worship at the Altar of this film. It never fails to satisfy, and I've seen it about 15 times, at least! I still have my old recorded-off-Cinemax VHS and I PRAY that thing stays with me until Sorority House Massacre II and Hard to Die get good DVD releases. Although, unfortunately DISNEY owns the rights to these movies now. So, we're pretty much FUC Ked.

shareI didn't relize that the DVD was cut when I bought it,maybe that's why I hated it so much! Most of the deaths were mainly off screen and it seemed more like soft core porn than a horror movie. I would love to give this movie another chance sense I liked all the other massacre movies. Does anyone know were I can get a unedited DVD or VHS. I hope I didn't hurt anyone's feelings,but the DVD is clearly missing something.
shareyou probably are not missing anything. I don't like it because it is a great scary violent horror movie; I love it because it is so goofy and has great nudity out of nowhere (a nice slow breast-washing shower in COLD water?). It is just fun.
Oh, if you have the chance, check out Hard To Die with essentially the same cast.
