Plus his rifle is a Ruger mini 14, not exactly military issue.

The mini-14 isn't exactly useless. The Ruger mini 14 was compact version of m14, the standard issue rifle in US army and marines from 1959-1970. the Mini-14 is still used at some posts, jails, and by police. It's not quite as reliable as the SKS/AK family of firearms but its close, which is saying something for US manufacturing imo.
What brought me to the forums though was a profound urge to complain about the way lorenzo is holding his gun on the cover of the movie. Its like he has never, ever picked up a gun before, and he has no idea what it does or how. Like maybe he thinks its a shovel, or a car.
I'm gonna try to make myself watch this horrible movie again. I got to the spike trap last time before i laughed myself off the internet completely.
