their are no plans for ski patrol on dvd yet

and i check my best buy and they never heard ski patrol on a dvd

it's only on vhs sorry

but your wrong about this ordeal

it's a brand new ski patrol ray walston in it

please keep checking amazon.com also as well

they might have a new one or used one or like new condition

on amazon.com

I haven't seen it on DVD yet either. I keep on looking for it though. I love this movie. And I can't wait for it to be on DVD. I'm not really much for VHS anymore as I'm already trying to get rid of my other ones. By looking for them on DVD first. If it was on DVD it would be in Netflix.com or blockbuster.com and it's not on either of them. :~(

Dude i also need this on DVD it sucks that i can't find it anywhere... this is arguably my fav movie of all time and i was devastated to find out that it isnt on DVD

I totally agree! I wish it was! I saw it when I was little, but now I can't find it at all! Not even on VHS, we need to get with the times! DVD all the way!

I don't think it is terrible at all! I think it is very fun and the ski patrol was very creative! Man do they know how to have fun! I wish it would be on DVD also, I can't even find it on VHS either! Not like it matters, I don't have VHS anymore. Not a lot of people do! They should make this on DVD along with the other movie that I like; also not on DVD. (Second Sight)

My wife loves this movie! I've been wanting to get it on DVD for her for years--figured it'd be the best Christmas present ever!! We should start an email campaign--who do we email?!?? They certainly have made DVDs of FAR worse movies.

I did see somewhere they made a Laserdisc version.

Who do we contact? It looks like it was distributed by Triumph Releasing which now seems to be part of Sony Pictures. But it was produced by Epic Productions. The catalog is owned by MGM. See http://www.closinglogos.com/page/Epic+Productions?t=anon

I'm shocked that this small piece of my childhood, is not immortalized in digital format. While cheesy, this movie is the best of it's genre. I don't know if this will get us anywhere but the TCM Movie database has it listed and there is an option to vote for it's DVD release.

Leave your votes and comments...it's current rank is a sad #616 (I don't know what that really indicates, but it looks grim)

This movie is playing on the MGM HD channel this month. Great widescreen version, looks great. You can tape or burn it from there.

Thanks for the heads up! I randomly checked this thread again yesterday, saw this and it was on MGM HD tonight at 5. Better quality than I've ever seen and now I have it DVR'd.

I've scoured the Earth for 6+ years trying to find a DVD of this. It was on On Demand over the winter holidays but I never got a chance to DVR it...

This movie has been severely underrated by the voters on this website. Yeah it's cheesy and corny but there are some classic scenes in this movie that you can't help but laugh at. For what it is it's great and now classic. It's good to see that people enjoy it as much as I do.

I'd like to get it on DVD as well, my grandfather is in it, he's the elder skier who says "Sorry, it's my first time" after he tips everybody over. Lol
