Still wondering after all these years

Years ago, when I first saw this movie on tv, I posted here asking if anyone knew or could figure out what that food was that Peter Horton was cooking in a frying pan in one scene. It looked yummy. A while back IMDB deleted all my posts, and apparently this one, too. I hadn't thought about it until I saw the movie on tv recently. Anyone know what it is he's cooking?
