just saw this one on...Comedy Central? what are the odds of that???

Yes its true...I watched it last night at 2 in the morning on Comedy Central and lo and behold its gonna be on again this afternoon....

in one of the imdb user comments section someone says that its the crown jewel in the constant cavalcade of movies being shown on comedy central...and this was in 2001!!!!

actually it was a pretty cute movie...i'd seen bits and pieces of it over the years on c.c. but last night was the first time i'd finally watched it straight thru and you know what??? as a whole its actually far far better then watching it in bits and pieces...i'm not sure why that is...i guess obviously the story makes more sense that way...but it was definitely cute. Cheech could definitely hold down a movie! (not that was in doubt but still between this and Born in East LA, he could have easily been given a couple more leading roles and been able to carry them off with no problem. meh what you gonna do.)

anyways...it was decent enough...kind of like one of them their sitcom movies...the kind of movie that could easily pass as a half hour sitcom but somehow becomes an hour and a half. One day i'd like to make a sitcom movie with completely self-aware characters who know they're in a sitcom plot and resolve to do the opposite thing that a sitcom character would do. oh well a man can dream right? a man can dream!

this was definitely cute though...i wonder why the director took his name off it...its light years better then another movie that the director left his name on--Mr.Nanny. Was this version studio altered and he hated having it butchered so he took his name off it??? anyone know? just asking.

by the way turn on comedy central right now! if its not on now it will be within a couple days guaranteed! at least its better then caddyshack 2.

That's hilarious-I'm watching it right now on Comedy Central! It's not a very good movie, but I always get drawn into watching it when it actually comes on. Maybe it's because Vernon Welles (Bennett from "Commando") is the most unintentially funny actors on the planet! Even when he's trying to act serious, I die laughing! I've been a huge fan since the 80's.

Along with this film there are films out there that just draws you in to watch for some reason you do not know why though? I love this film and think it is a absolute classic to watch! I love B movies like this!

I watching this on cable in the early 90's.

Yes this use to be shown in the 90's. Ever since the TV programming has changed you do not see movies on like this anymore. CW in Milwaukee and Chicago would have late night movies like this showing. When I moved 5 years ago back to Central Illinois where I grew up at the CW will not show movies. They do but early though and not late.

This is a very good film to watch and I happened to decide to look for a low grade B movie on Netflix and found out that they had this for me to watch on my Nintendo Wii. The last time I saw this on was when I was watching Comedy Central. They still show films like this but nothing from the 90's anymore I do not think. A lot of their movies that they show now are like the most current ones from 2000 until now.

I would watch Comedy Central when they use to have a program that was very similar to USA UP ALL NIGHT but different called Comedy Central's T&A Movies but without a host like USA UP ALL NIGHT had. I loved it and would tune in late on a Friday and Saturday night to watch films like this. I wonder why Comedy Central got rid of their T&A movies? I would rather watch that than the comedians that they show in a half hour or more segment to be honest with you or the Roasts that they sometime have for actors and comedians. Just being honest about it though.
