Forgot about this movie

I remember watching this when I stayed home from school a few times. One of those movies like 'The Hard Way' with Michael J Fox. It never got much attention when it was released, it never made tons of money, and very few people have seen it ... BUT plain and simple, it is just a good movie.

Yeah, it seems to be a forgotten film, or atleast its a film no one has ever seen. Shockingly, this film only grossed about 4 mill in the US, but thats all it says in the 'box office and business' section. So, I guess this film bombed at the box office... I wonder if this film just went strait to video? I can`t seem to find any critic reviews on this film or anything else.

For a comedy, I thought it was quite good and a very nice performance by Dabney Coleman. I think a few things hurt the film though, like, the lead character`s names, Burt and Ernie?? haha! okay, its kind of funny but kind of lame too.

And I think it could`ve used a few more scenes of Burt in dire situations. This is what made the film so hilarious but it only has a few scenes like this. I would really like to know if their are any deleted scenes for this film. A DVD release with outtakes would be GREAT!

I really enjoyed Short Time but a few changes and additions could`ve made it a better film.

It's not great, but it does have a certain charm, thanks to Coleman. Plus, it has one of the best car chases I've ever seen.

Definitely worth a look, I'd say.

It's a pity so few people know this movie. This was one of my childhood favorites! An odd favorite, yes, but I loved the comedy part of it-as well as the serious part of it. You gotta love lines like "You missed me again, you idiot!" And the car chase is one of my favorite car chase scenes ever.

I have such fond memories of this movie. I only have it on blank tape though. This really needs to come out on dvd.

Actor: Great Zuko costume, but the scar's in the wrong side.
Zuko: IT'S NOT ON THE WRONG SIDE!
