dont you think this movie is so impressive because it has wonderful technicolor shots in the desert? i fall in love with the last part of the movie where kit was travelling in desert. still think lawrance of arabia is superior to this movie in that sense. but i love to see more technicolor movies. do you have any recommends?

Even beautiful Technicolor scenes can't substitute for a film lacking a great storyline and characters, such as The Sheltering Sky. It was just so pointless. The couple should have just stayed in the States, gotten a divorce, and his life would have been spared. Stupid. The only reason I watched this film was for cutie pie Campbell Scott but he wasn't given nearly enough scenes. His comic relief was welcome though in a depressingly dumb movie.
