The ending is so depressing. Killing Amanda the heroine was soooo sad. Then I thougth Ari was going to become the new heroine (Ala Feast) Nope she gets slaughtered too. I think Link is a better killer monkey movie. Nothing worse than an ape killing to keep you and looking at you sexually. Plus Elizabeth Shue. Would've loved it if if Amanda or Ari lived tho.

I actually thought those downbeat moments made up for drawn-out, one-idea concept.

Totally agree. Tracy was my favorite character. Until she was taken out, I kind of liked the movie for what it was, but after her death, this well shot, but kind of dumb little movie took itself way to seriously and made me hate it.
