Has anyone else had a hard time finding the DVD?

I placed a really cheap order for the DVD on deepdiscount.com before the release date, which they listed as 10/23/07 (not 10/16, like amazon.com and all other places). I e-mailed DD, and they said that I would have to wait for the 10/23 date. I waited and waited, then I checked the DVD listing and it stated that the release date was now 11/08. A day or two later, the date went up to 11/09 and then it went to 11/10. Pissed off, I cancelled the order and started looking elsewhere. None of the stores here have it. I had previously seen it on fye.com for 20 cents cheaper than DD. When I went to order it, though, they stated that it was now OUT OF STOCK. I checked bestbuy.com and others, and they all stated BACKORDER. What the hell? I finally had to win an Ebay auction that was $2 more than I was originally supposed to pay. It was shipped, yesterday. With my luck, it'll probably get lost in the mail...

Does anyone have the R1 DVD? Did you have any problems getting it?
