Simply Amazing

From the genuinely funny comedy of the first third, through the revelations of the middle and finally the "wtf is going on" madness of the ending.....

especially i like
the random synth bass played like 4 times-just figuring out how this amazes me is a treat

the pseudo medieval parts towards the end, burning on the stake with the Wolfgang Ebner (i think-someone please link me this recording)

the first class with herr wegmus and contact electricity

the very ending...best film freakout ever...plus the very end, anyone know German better than me? is it "liebe Baum, hilft mir dass Sie mich nicht kriegen"....or "liebe baum hilft mir, lassen sie mich nicht kriegen" ... or most likely something else-my German is pretty poor tbh

plus the rest....this is the kind of film I am sad for having the three times that i have, knowing that somehow, some of the spontaneity of the end is diminished with each repeat viewing.....eurgh....maybe ill wait till my German is good enough to watch without subtitles until the next viewing (never gonna happen lol)

Maybe its just me...im a sucker for these films which mix genres and tone so well ("super" anyone? )

Anyone agree? Disagree? I think this film could be quite easily hated if not in the right mood?

ps

Lena Stolze is hot yeah?

It's quite an offbeat quirky little film - but yes - it's unique - and I did enjoy it. Lena Stolze was very good in her role here.
