I'll second that.

I've been waiting for ages (well, sort of) for this movie to be released on DVD.

I am looking forward to the DVD as well. Excellent Movie!

Have to disagree there mate, thought the movie left to many unanswered questions and was to confusing to be even considered average.

This was a TV movie released directly to television, there was no theatrical release. The original production company MTE, was a division of Universal Pictures. I just caught it on "SLEUTH" SLTH Channel 309 on DirecTv satellite.

The most frustrating thing about this movie was knowing the Secret Service was guarding the front door of the book depository. All Hays had to do, is go to the front door and tell them Oswald is on the 6th floor with a rifle.
I kept expecting Hays to prevent Oswald from shooting, and then discover Kennedy was killed by another assassin. They repeated the same sequence of events 3 times and I was expecting something much more clever.
A more interesting twist would be for Hays to prevent the Kennedy assassination, and find a nuclear war took place as a result. Then they have to send someone back to stop Hays from preventing the assassination.
Or...After calling the FBI and all 3 travelers return to the present, they find the CIA/FBI has taken control of the time machine and has sent back men to ensure Kennedy is killed and have further damaged the time-line with tampering.
This story was loaded with potential, but written with "tv pilot" stamped all over it.

I loved the movie, but wonder what kind of reception ANYONE would get if they went to the authorities stating that they were from "the future" and that they had been "sent back" to prevent something from happening. I think they'd be put in the loony-bin.

In every movie about time travel, the traveller is never believed. When I think of "The Time Machine," I wonder why nobody ever saw that machine, especially when it was parked right out in the open where it was sure to be seen by people. Was it invisible?

I've always dreamed of "going back in time" to slavery times in the USA, but I'd like to be invisible. Wouldn't that be cool? I'd be the worse serial killer in the history of the world. LOL And that is soooooo against my personality. But, when you think about it, that might make a great comedy.

"Running Against Time," "Moment to Moment" and a few other films are being held back for some reason. I remember a group of Bette Davis fans, including myself, bombarded 20th Century Fox with e-mails and letters, demanding that they release THE STAR on VHS. They finally did. Now, it's out on DVD.

My copy of "Running" is a good copy I got from TV. I would love to have it on DVD, however, with extras, interviews, etc.
