You knocked him down, why don't you try knocking me down

That line at the end always gets me amp'd up. This film is so underrated because Rocky is not fighting in the ring.

Might be my favorite moment in the entire series! I could run through a wall when he says that! I love it, and the street fight.

Very under-rated sequel that it became cool to bash on, when ultimately it's a much more well made film than III or IV.

While I can admit their faults, I still love all of the Rocky films! One of my favorite movie franchises ever.

Better than 3 and 4? This is one of the craziest posts I ever read on here

Better made as a film, yes. I stand by that. I love all of the Rocky movies. 3 and 4 are great popcorn movies, and entertaining as hell, but they’re basically hour and a half long music videos and montages.

As a film with a story, V is better than 3 and 4 in my opinion.

I know it’s been cool to hate Rocky V forever, and Stallone himself doesn’t like it, but oh well. I get so pumped up with the lead up to that street fight. I absolutely love it.

“Yo, you knocked him down…why don’t you try knocking me down now.”

“My ring’s outside.”

Tommy; “I want my respect!” Rocky: “Well come and get it.” Rocky starts beating his ass.

“I didn’t hear no bell!”

“Get up you son of a bitch, cause Mickey loves ya!”

Those lines go through my head all the time when I’m having a rough day. They get me all fired up. I love it! Rocky V is eternally underrated and unfairly hated, but I’m always going to go against the herd on this one.

That scene gets me initially teary at Paulies sacrifice....and yet also a touch of the Chills, as Balboa gives Tommy Gunn 'The Look'

(Whereas I just straight-up blub at the Mickey flashback)
Great movie (vastly underrated)
