What version do you like better, even if you hate them both or love them both?

The original Rock 'N Roll High School (1979) is a classic. This one is a sequel (so not a different version, a follow-up), and it's a fun watch, but lacks the charm and campiness of the original.
shareI had read your post before I watched this film, and I thought you were joking. But now that I've seen this, I agree. I was surprised at how much I liked this. The 1979 (not 1980) film was a lot of fun and of course had the Ramones, but this one was a lot more imaginative and the set design was spectacular. Both are great films that I gave 8/10 to, but this is a stronger 8/10.

well if it was not for rock n roll high school forever I would not know this was a sequel to the movie rock n roll high school. so given the benefit of a doubt I still enjoy the sequel cause I grew up on it, and enjoy the first movie cause of the ramones
