Soundtrack

Does anyone know if there is a soundtrack to this movie and where I can buy it? Or possibly know the titles/singers of the songs in this movie? Please help. Thanks in advance :o)

There isn't a soundtrack. But here's a couple of the artists from whom can buy CDs.

Precious Metal:
www.RocketCityRecords.com/PreciousMetal

Cherie Currie:
www.CherieCurrie.com

Cherie played the singer "Michelle", and Precious Metal performed 2 songs "Sweet, Sweet" off their "That Kind of Girl" CD, and "Once is Enough" which is available on their "Unreleased" CD via their web store. You can buy CDs of both artists at www.RocketCityRecords.com

Jeff Scott Soto was the vocalist that sang along with Cherie (actor Don Michael Paul lip-synched). Soto was also the voice behind Marky Mark in the film "Rock Star". He's done a ton of behind the scenes singing like that. The other two bands were called Celebrity Skin and Darling Cruel. You should be able to find all of them if you do a web search.

Thank you for the information. I have looked EVERYWHERE for the music on this movie. Do you know where I can find the songs performed by "Breakout" on the movie?

reply

Cherie Currie...of the Runaways...? You're kidding! I haven't seen this movie in a LONG time and now I'm gonna hunt it down to see it again. What a trip!

You guys should really try Limewire. You could probably download the movie and the songs.

actually there's no soundtrack released for this movie, all the rock songs (tear it down, love strikes, heart of the fire, hands of time) performed by Jeff Scott Soto ( http://www.jeffscottsoto.com ) unfortunately he hasn't released any album for these songs (these songs called as "LA rocks demos"), i searched these songs very much, in the end i could find on some "sharing" proframs as Kazaa,Napster,Emule etc...
Jeff's new songs are also awesome, his voice and talents are getting better everday.

I was in this movie. B rated or not, it was fun and the music was the greatest. Celebrity Skin sining Poisanna is the highlight of the movie. You can see me dancing in the center of the screen after it says "SHOWCASE TONIGHT". LOL me and fringe jacket and all! LOL

OMG! You were in Rich Girl! I'm so jealous! I love that movie, and yes the music is AWESOME! I've been trying to collect some of the songs and have the one by Pretty Poison and the one by Darling Cruel.

The singer behind Don Michael Paul in this awesome movie from 1991 is actually JAY ESSESS not Soto. Soto may have done the guitar work but NOT THE VOCALS.

reply

According to Jeff Scott Soto's website he did all the vocals for "Rick" but Jeff was credited as Jay Essess.
