delightfully disturbing

Delightfully disturbing , ROF is so brilliantly written, cast, edited and directed that it makes for excellent viewing over and over again.Using Sunny to narrate the events that lead to her death, more than one plausible scenario and never mistaking CLAUS's guilt the film's narrative is full of intrigue and suspense while always remaining credible. Jeremy Irons is CLAUS VON BULOW , all suave and reptilian grace while Glenn Close is miraculous as a masochistic woman of low self-esteem continually in and out of an alcoholic & drug induced daze.Ron Silver is effective too. The quiet calm of this film shorn of any pyrotechnics even in the court scenes adds to it's power .
