'Freezing cold bathroom'

Each time this came up, my phone rang, so could someone tell me how this was explained/justified? I saw von Bulow opening the windows at one point . . . to revive Sunny? Even something so far-fetched as to attempt to preserve her basic brain functions via hypothermia??

If you're talking about the part (near the end) where Dershowitz and Sarah posit alternate theories of what really happened to Sunny: Sarah suggests that Claus, having poisoned Sunny, would want to "help her along" (= hasten her death). So he thought to open the bedroom window, which Sunny had asked her kid to open the night before (it's zero degrees outside, and as the room temperature drops, so will her body temp -- remember that near the start she says in voiceover that her body temp was 81.6 degrees?). But he realizes that someone might see her thru the bedroom window, so he drags her into the bathroom (thus explaining why her nightgown was hiked up), and he opens the bathroom window to lower the temperature and thus hasten her death.
