Thank you. Dose anyone know where I can get it.

I would check in any unflushed toilet or outhouse, as the contents floating therein would be of the same quality as this abomination...a total insult to the original series.

What I can remember of it -- it was horrible. You should save your money and never buy it.

Sam Drucker selling Video tapes in his general store? Blasphemy

reply

It was the '90s you know.

reply

I am still looking for this video so if anyone finds it please let me know.

reply

I don't know...I have seen it and the guy above was not exagerating. The cast did not age well I mean the show ended in thearly 70's and most of the cast was then in their mid to late 40's or older. The reunion was made in the 90's and the cast looked lost and near dead. Also he is right the movie makes little since because you would never want to go back from the city and live their again. It would be like a Good Times reunion where an 60 year old JJ still living w/ his family convinced everyone that they shood move back to the hood because that was good livin. Then the rest of the Family the one or two still livin cast members said sure that was good livin. They move back and try to do the same jokes from the 1st series only at a slower past and little to know acnolagement that the cast has aged. JJ is still painting and chaising you skirts screaming and coufing out his line dyno-cough-cough-myte. And his mom is chasing him in a walker w/ her belt. Better example is if you saw the Beverly Hillbilies Reunion (TV Movie) and liked it then well you will love this one if not then it was about the same.

Dose anyone know when it will be on T.V. again.

reply

hopefully never.. you can probably contact the writers...they probably have treasured copies of their work...if there is any justice, they are strapped to chairs (Clockwork Orange style) and forced to watch this 24/7

reply

I saw the last half of this on TV this morning. Honestly, I didn't think it was all that bad, but I wasn't expecting much. These TV reunion shows are always awful, aren't they? Are there any that were actually any good?

The thing that bugged me the most was that it seemed to have the same plotline as the Brady Bunch Movie, although that was released after this. I'm sure a lot of other films have used this plot as well.

reply

Agreed. Its not a great movie but its a good watch just to see the cast again. As for the cast not aging well. Eddie Albert was 84 when he did this. He looked good as well as Eva Gabor, Tom Lester and Frank Cady.

somehow it isn't the same "Hooterville" if they suddenly have VCRs (or now I suppose they have cellphones, Twitter and Google like everyone else)
while back in the '60s they were sort of actually stuck in a bizarre pocket universe where general stores were still the norm and people used crank telephones, talked on party lines and ground their coffee with hand cranks.

Oh and they had talking pigs too. I guess Arnold was long eaten by that time though.

reply

Get Smart, Again was good. Rescue from Gilligan's Island was popular, and provided some sort of closure. Strictly speaking, Star Trek: The Motion Picture was a reunion movie.
