Best Disney Villain?

I think McLeach was decent, but here are the best:

1. Ratigan
2. Judge Frollo
3. Oogie Boogie
4. Gaston
5. Cruella De Ville

These are my fave Disney villains:
McLeach
Hades
Ratigan
Barbossa (I know he's not animated, but he's still in a Disney film)
Davy Jones (same thing with Barbossa of course)
Just because I like being able to express this too...I cannot stand Ursula and Maleficent.

If non-animated goes, my #1 is Hans Reinhardt, from The Black Hole.

Oogie Boogie? From Nightmare Before Christmas? That's not Disney is it?

I'm a big fan of Don Karnage.

"How do you like them mangos, citizens?"
or
"You have gotten yourself in a tiny piccolo, yes no?

Always the earlier ones, I say. The Queen (who wanted to cut an preteen's heart out), the Coachman (who was never caught), the unseen MAN (killed the protagonist's mother), Maleficent is definitely up there - she's just evil for the hell of it - no real motive.

Peeaecee is also right on about Maleficent; no real motive for her wickedness. One reason why I despise her so much. Plus, putting that kind of curse on a helpless, defenseless infant; just how conniving do you really need to be?! Besides, so she wasn't invited to a b-day celebration; there are bigger and better things to take revenge on people for. Yep, I'm an avid Maleficent-hater...and proud of it!
Kinda OT, but I enjoy writing stories and poems. A while back I invented a superheroine whose first nemesis was a wicked fairy, inspired by Maleficent (she is one if I recall right). Pretty much my own way of getting back at her! hehe

I wonder why no one mentioned Jafar. I don't really have any order, but I like Scar, Jafar, McLeach, Ratigan, Barbossa, Dr. Facilier. But Scar, Jafar and Barbossa are on the Top 3.

My favorites in no particular order:

Ratigan: he is so dastardly, and you can tell that Vincent Price is having SO much fun voicing him. There's a reason why this was one of his favorite roles.

Yzma: she is hilarious, and by extension, so is Krunk. They are the best Disney villain/sidekick duo, IMO.

Ursula: IMO, she has one of the BEST villain songs in Disney animated film history. Her plot is cunning and revenge-filled, and I love it.

McLeash: because he (and George C. Scott) is a total badass.

Shere Khan: and only because George Sanders's voice is just wonderful.

Sid in Toy Story is my favourite, but in the Animated Classics, Alameda Slim in Home On The Range is my favourite. But does he count as a villain? He had stolen cows which was a crime, but is he a really true villain?
