Pick your favorite mouse movie! :3

I've loved mice ever since I was a little girl so I saw quite a few "mouse" movies.

Mouse Movie List

The Rescuers
The Secret of NIMH
The Rescuers Down Under
An American Tail
The Great Mouse Detective
An American Tail: Fivel Goes West
Mouse Hunt
Stuart Little
Stuart Little 2
Ratatoulle (arrrgh I can't spell it!! yes, so he's a rat but potato-patawto lol)
Flushed Away (that has a mouse main character, right?)

If there are more I forgot, please mention them. I almost put "The Green Mile" but didn't. XD As for my choice....I'm very very torn between The Secret of NIMH and Great Mouse Detective.
See......NIMH has amazing visuals, amazing animation, and amazing music and amazing everything, pretty much and Don Bluth is my favorite animator.

But.....GMD has....Basil.

......you see my dilemma? :'D

rofl.

Stuart Little was a pretty poor adaptation of the book. :/ While the book made for an amusing (for kids who didn't need fart jokes!) yet intelligent read, the movie got all "childrenized" and everyone's personality was changed so I was like "....ergh what is this?!" The only bit I liked was the fake parent thing because it reminded me of "Annie". Did not see the sequel, obviously.

Hey, it's the "mori no otomodachi!!

This, the others on the list look like much weaker films, though I've not seen Stuart Little 2 or Flushed Away. Ratatouille had potential (technically a rat movie), but frittered away its time with uninteresting human plots. It tried to be about a fundamental conflict between humans and rats, and the impossible taboo-breaking of a cook befriending a rat and of a rat being a cook, similar to the Fox and the Hound... but it backed off, and fell apart.

The Tale of Despereaux is also a decent mouse movie. It's bizarre and not entirely coherent (reminded me of 9) but it's worth a watch.
