one of the best comedy movies ever made!

i watched this movie maybe 5 times from 12 to 18 years old and thought it wasnt that funny, now at age of 29 i purchased the DVD cheap and omg i was laughing and ROFL.

this is one of the best comedy movies ever since AIRPLANE, THE EXORCIST is my favorite horror movie of all time so now that im older and started getting the jokes i couldnt stop laughing..

when Leslie Nielsen was standing with his shadow behind, then he moved and the shadow remained scratching his head, but leslie had all the lines on his body and face from the moon shadow AHHAHAHA

"LUKE MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!" (with echo) hahahahahahahahaha

i never understood this before but now i get it was from STAR WARS :D

"DAAAAD.....MOM IS HUMPING THE PRIEST!"

best 9.99$ i ever spent.

I highly recommend this movie.

It is a very good comedy to watch and laugh at! I loved it too when TBS, TNT, and Comedy Central use to show it back in the day when the programming was different than what it is now.

Are you people kidding? This movie is the worst "comedy" I've seen in a long long time.

I just starting watching it last night and couldn't get mast the first 20 minutes.

This is the lamest piece of crap made by want to be "comedy" writers. It's just not funny. And what's with Neilson looking at the camera in the classroom, makes a goofy face, and then looks away at the director or whatever? WTF!

And why so many looks at the camera????

Why did the cast agree to appear in this drivel?

What a piece of *beep*

This was a great comedy and even Linda Blair appeared in this to some what poke fun of her first film that she had ever done which was The Exorcist. Leslie Nielson was great in this and was only trying to make us fans laugh about the things he was doing.

I found this for $1.95 on VHS at a used video store, and it was money well spent though I wanted to like this more than I actually did.

I am not a fan of comedy films as a rule, but I LOVED this movie!
As a huge fan of the original "The Exorcist", I found the jokes & gags to be hilarious & spot-on!

Why this movie got so much flak from critics & audiences I'll never understand.

Some of its poor reception may have been the timing of its release. I recall that "The Exorcist III" came out around this time, and audiences didn't know which film was the parody & which was the horror!
So people, being creatures of frustration & laziness, ended up going to one film in the theater thinking it was the other.
