Damn, I didn't think this film was called "Gladiator"...

The film (The one this page is about) was a visualy slick
grade B "Thriller" with sci-fi/horror underpinnings.

It it's good film to watch at 2 in the morning on a Friday
night when you should be asleep but really just want to
rot the brain till 5 am and pass out.

I mean after all it does have Andrew Stevens in it.

"Red Blooded American Girl" is good for about the first thirty seconds, and that's about it. After that, our David Hasselhoff-ian hero falls for a nice blonde doctor. After sneaking behind her house, he finds her dancing to a song with a pretty blatant message. What are all the lyrics to the song she's dancing to (that we hear, of course) and what does the nice lady doctor have written on her sweatshirt?

I must admit that I think "Red Blooded American Girl" was quite good. It's a refreshingly novel and clever "Coma"-style medical horror thriller take on your standard vampire premise with excellent acting, stylish direction, plenty of wickedly witty dialogue ("Yes, I am a blood user, but I adore garlic and hate sleeping in coffins"), and several cool kinky touches.

"Warren Oates died for our sins"
