wow, no threads?

kinda liked this little movie. kinda noirish, like the night scenes of LA

i like movies that show what LA looked like in the 80s

weller was pretty good, the rest of the guys did fine. it had the right feel to it, though the end was kinda lame.

another undiscovered gem, found on TV

that's why i have those channels, exactly.

I just finished reading the rather long book and thought it was pretty good. I can't imagine it being transferred into a good movie with Peter Weller as the lead - since the protagonist in the book was a physically large and tough Irishman (like Bruce Willis - who played John McClain in "Diehard" - based on another novel by this very same author Roderick Thorpe who wrote "The Detective" (movie with Frank Sinatra as the detective lead), "Nothing Lasts Forever" (actual sequel to "The Detective" though set years later) and "Rainbow Drive" also set in LA with a "John McClain" type character.

In any case, I would like to see this movie but can't find it anywhere yet.
