Without Randy Quaid.. this would have been awesome

he is terrible in this

reply

Randy Quaid was miscast and did not fit the role, but I'm not sure it would have mattered who played that role.

The movie had tons of potential. It's almost like the writer had a great idea for a movie, then filled in the rest with crap off the top of his head.

First 30 minutes great, then right off a cliff.

Worked for me. Out of curiosity, since you're the expert, who would you replace him with?

reply

Show me where in my post that I called myself an expert.

In fact, did you read the second part? The part where I said I'm not sure it would matter who they cast for that part?

So, did you not read the post or did you just fell like being an a$$h0le?

reply

why call him an a hole??

if ur going to say that a certain actor like randy quaid wasnt good enough then its just as important to provide alternative actors for that role.

reply

Quaid was an important cog in this movie.

Its that man again!!

reply

quaid was perfect

reply

Yep, I can't think of anyone else who would play the total wreck that Quaid did. Doesn't mean he's the greatest actor, just that he owned this role.

reply

Agreed. Quaid is perfect in this. Watch this and then "The Last Detail." Quaid is the real deal, although he seems to be mired in mental illness at the moment :(

reply

Without Randy Quaid.. this would have been disappointing

Fixed.

Death by stereo

I have to agree with the OP. Quaid's performance was VERY distracting. Too much over the top. Either tone it down a little or use someone else. Adam Sandler maybe? 😲

Luke Skywalker, your Mom was hawt! Darth Vader
