Ann Boleyn situation

This is a lovely well made film with sumptuous cinematography. I kept being reminded of the situation that Ann Boleyn faced, very similar to Jeanne de Luynes. I wonder had Jeanne given her heart to the King as Boleyn did to Henry VIII, would he have grown tired of her and sent her back to her husband eventually? Instead, she resisted him until the very end, when he could no longer physically make demands of her.
