Correct me if I'm wrong...goof?

When they go to the opera, the necklace Edward presents to Vivan is diamond with blue. When he puts it around her neck & she questions loaning it from the store, the necklace is blue. The necklace is blue at the opera...okay, maybe it's black but looks blue.

BUT

At the end when Edward asks the hotel manager to returns it to the store & the manager asks to look inside, the necklace is no longer blue & more of a topaz color. I looked in the goof section & there's no mention of it.

Anyone??

The necklace has red stones (ruby or garnet) with diamonds. The diamonds do look *bluish* though, from the reflections in the room most likely.

I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus.
Didn't he discover America?

Thank u, I thought I was going mad then, I always thought it was red too

I agree. I googled it & online they show it the color it was at the end so I guess (shrug)... with lighting or whatever, it appeared different color.

I must say though, when I googled I thought i was losing my mind. I had to go back and rewatch the scene to prove I wasn't.

But your comment makes it make sense. Thanx!!

It's blue??? I thought it was red to go with her dress. I'm watching this now & definitely going to check that out
I could have sworn it was red! Let me check :)
