"A buffet of safety"

Was Edward suggesting he didn't want to use protection? It would've been extremely foolish - not to mention dangerous - of him to have that kind of attitude.

reply

I doubt it. I think the point of that scene was to show viewers she was safe and clean and not any old disease ridden skank. They made sure to say she was new and didn't do drugs. Made her more worthy of being saved by Edward, I suppose.

reply

I didn't see it as Edward not wanting to use condoms.
He was commenting on how Vivian swoops a whole handful out, complete with colors (and descriptions of them lol).
He was just amused.

I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus.
Didn't he discover America?
Penfold, shush.

reply

Agree. He was amused. Probably never picked up a hooker before. I mean, Vivian said it herself:

"You're a rich good-looking guy. You can have all the girls you want for free.".

reply

Is that what he said? Wow! I always thought it was 'I profain from safety!'

reply

He did say that, your right. I profain from safety, only cos I'm watching this now. Did they use condoms on the piano but though??
Can't imagine she had some in her dressing gown hahaha
