Why did all the men lawyers want to have sex with her?

You would think that they had never seen a pretty woman before and she was okay, but nothing special. Men in the office aren't really like that, are they? I mean, come on. Surely they have more control than that, especially if they are married. There would be not hope for anybody if every time a semi attractive woman came on the scene, that the men would want to jump her. They might have those thoughts, but they would not act on them. The woman deserved to be killed though, she was a destroyer.

"Duh. Your the idiot. Not me."

Can't speak for all men, but I think a lot would fall for her if a situation presented itself. Plus, it's only two men that we know of in the film though, isn't it? On the marriage point - the boss was apparently divorced at the time. I have to say, Ford's character did seem a bit too distant/unemotional to get involved in an obsessive affair with her, though.

Think of a man being married to a woman for years and the sex becoming a bit stale and repetitive then a hot younger woman gives herself to him and some men wouldn't have the self control needed to say no. Sorry but Greta is way hotter then Bonnie in this movie by a long shot, Bonnie is way to homely looking and Greta has a just past her prime super model look to her in this. It's easy to see why many men would sleep with her, especially if she's giving herself to them.

I worked in an office for 6 years. Believe me, the men will jump on anything that moves, whether the man is married or not. Working 8 or more hours a day, five or more days a week, men get very close with the women and share things with them that they won't even share with their wives...they're with them more than they are with their wives. Then it gets more intimate. I had several try with me. I couldn't tell you the number of affairs I knew about during that time. Sad, really.

reply

I agree, when I was younger I wanted to sleep with every girl I could but the older I got the more you realize how wrong that is. I still had self control though even then, even though I wanted to I didn't let myself if I was dating someone or once I got married. And I mean no offense but I wouldn't jump on a few that offered themselves to me as I wasn't attracted to them at all. I do think there are many though that will F anything that moves. I put the blame on many of them for helping spread many diseases.

I'm sure glad I think with my brain, instead of my penis.

Nobody deserves to be killed.

That said, she was pretty hot, and from an outsider's perspective she did seem like a smart, confident, admirable woman fighting for worthwhile causes (i.e. bringing rapists and child-abusers to justice).

However, it seems she was also a deeply toxic self-serving woman who may have had lofty ideals when it came to the world at large but was nevertheless a nasty piece of work to those people who got close to her. As soon as she contemptuously advised Rusty that he should fire his assistant/secretary I'd have wanted nothing to do with her beyond a professional relationship. That kind of bitchy nastiness is a real turn-off.
