Terrible facial expression

Harrison Ford's acting at the end when his wife is confessing and telling how she killed her. He has that terrible expression and tears running down his cheek and says "Saved". That awful acting by Harrison Ford almost ruined the movie. That scene should have been reshot and Alan Pakula should have told HF not to overact. I truly cannot think of anything worse than Harrison in that particular scene. Utterly awful!!

It was good acting on Ford's part. In fact, this is probably his best role.

just watched that bit a second ago
was just a continuation of ford's regular brilliance and you wouldn't know a good actor if it murdered your mistress.

"Ford's brilliance"?

I think maybe you are the one that wouldn't know a good actor to put "Ford" and "brilliance" in the same sentence.

My good taste in performance and acting is unparalleled. Ford didn't overreact, didn't overplay. I think you are probably a jaded person, scared by authentic emotions in real life.

Judgment: false.
