sex and language

How bad is it.

The sex: two scenes, first is in a dark office, you see a bit of her breasts but nothing too offensive. It is a bit long, so it may make some uncomfortable. The second actually just shows them talking, you see her butt.

The language: it was a bit unnecessary. It is mainly one character close to the beginning who is vulgar. There isn't much swearing after the investigation stops and the trial starts (about 1/3 of the way into the movie). Nothing like a gangster movie.

You see Indiana Jones (lol!) sucking on her breasts in that long sex scene. Or wait, was it Han Solo?

reply

Holy cow! Did anybody notice how totally unnatural and uncomfortable Harrison Ford appeared to be during the sex scene? I could literally see him cringing....

How DARE you kiss me?!?!
I don't like fast women....
and I HATE arrogant men.....

If your worried about sex and language, you shoudln't be watching a film about murder. Surely that is more offensive that a few images of a womans breasts.

reply

Oh, I completely disagree! I am a great fan of murder stories starting with when I was a kid watching Perry Mason on tv. I still watch the weekly 48 Hours Mystery on tv which manages to not have nudity in it. I am disappointed that this movie starts out with sex scenes because I saw the last half of the movie and wanted to buy it; that's why I came to imdb.com, to see if anyone spoke about "sex and language." The thing about "sex scenes" in movies is the libidinal effect it has on a person; not the "idea" of "well, these two people were having sex and ..." Why do you think people who are arrested for sexual perversion including sexual perversion with children are found to have a jillion sexually explicit photographs on in their bedrooms or on their computers?
Our County Sheriff "gets" it and took away the Playboy channels from the people in his jails, many of whom had been arrested for sex crimes...

Yet another Harrison movie I own... I'm just making the rounds on this very boring night. Anyway, I did notice a bit of his discomfort. I'm not sure why...do you know why? I'm seriously asking because I'm not 'up' on Harrison like many others are so I'm just wondering if there's a reason for it.

Indiana Jones 4: May 22, 2008! (He's back!)
X-Files 2: July 25, 2008!

I hope you are joking. Are trying to tell me that somehow watching sex scenes makes one a pervert?????

Uau, the world would be asolutely full of them, almost everybody perhaps except you an two others would be a pervert.

I´m really sick and tired of how some people find violence very much acceptable and are totally intolerant regarding sex in movies. What do you think is going to hurt a child more??? what hurts you more??? what´s more difficult to watch????

come on!!!!!!!!

I know, right!!!! Some of the wackos I think just get on these message boards to annoy people - not to make interesting points or have a real discussion. And some just want to infect the world with their PC crap.
