So if Carolyn Polhemus had not gotten killed ...

... after sleeping around, blackmail and collecting bribes what would she have done next?
I think gun running :)

Carolyn's future, had she lived would have been interesting.

If none of this had happened and she lived, it would have been interesting to see where she ended up.

Raymond lost the primary election to Nico and departed the PA's office for private practice a short time later.

She was closely associated with both Horgan and Rusty, but was also aligned with Tommy Molto (Nico's number 2 man).

Whether or not she would have been powerful enough to continue on with the new regime would have been interesting. Horgan was obviously her main proxy and whether or not Nico would have kept her around is unknown.

In my opinion she would have gotten what Rusty refused. She would have maniuated Horgan to nominate her as a judge before he left. And from there the Supreme Court maybe, unless she wanted to switch to politics.

Why would Horgan get to nominate judges?

reply

He obviously wouldn't but he would use his connections to have her nominated. He offered that much to Rusty when he lost the election.

If Carolyn had lived then Horgan probably wouldn't have lost the election so she would have continued on. Probably would have manipulated Horgan to get rid of Rusty.

She was going to run into the wrong person regardless. No matter how good she was at doing what she did, sooner or later someone (and not a pissed off homicidal wife) wasn't gonna take any of her sh-t.
