How would you have liked to seen the sequels go?

After an amazing first action oriented film and an ok sequel, the remaining Predator films (Including the AvP’s) only disappoint, it irks me that they waited far too long for another sequel, what I’d love to have seen is these movies become vehicles for the big action heroes of the time of the 90’s and 00’s. Just as the first movie was basically a Schwarzenegger vehicle.

Each movie would have a star attached but he/she would not always survive the final showdown, as there’s always a different star in the next sequel!

Predator 3 could have been a back to the jungle romp starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, with Predator 4 again having a new action star, this time Steven Seagal, set in the Middle-east in the 90’s.

The franchise could of taken a break for a decade or more but then returning with Dwayne Johnson in the jungle for Predator 5 and Vin Diesel taking the leading role for Predator 6, with Charlize Theron starring in Predator 7.

I would have liked for them to have not bothered with the AVP films. I thought Predators was a pretty decent movie myself, I would rather it had continued along that time line. We will see if Black has created a good movie.

Though I like the idea of JCVD being in one of them given his history with the franchise.

Yeah, they waited too long for a sequel. For some reason, each time they planned one, there would be some development issue.

I like the idea of the Predators winning every now and then. If they're supposed to be the big badasses of the galaxy, it doesn't make sense if the humans beat them every time.

I of course didn't like the Alien predator crossovers but I would have prefered if they kept the predator fighting on earth. To me the whole kidnapping and dropping people on an Alien world was just a cheap shot to keep the cast count low. I prefer no name actors or upcomming actors as they makes the budget low enough to keep the predator at a hard R rating. Too high of a budget and your stuck with a PG-13 film in the attempts to recoup the cost of the film.

These movies were always second rate b type films. Mediocre at best..

Vietnam War setting. U.S. Army, NVA and Viet Cong Vs The Predator/Predators.

Vietnam War setting would have been great, the pistol the Predator hands to Danny Glover shows they had been here many times before, so sequels could of gone back in time featuring many of earths recent conflicts quite easily.

I was hoping that's what Shane Black might have had planned for The Predator. Maybe someday 🤔🤞

I wouldn't have minded movie adaptations of Predator:Big game, Predator:Cold War and Predator:Rites of Passage.

I never read any of those, Used to read the old comic books years ago. Think I've still got a pile of them somewhere. I'll check the ones you mentioned out sometime ⤴️

i think the best way to have gone would be a prequel set in mexico like the lady's stories from pred 1.

antonio banderas as star?

directed by robert rodriguez instead of produced? but like how he did desperado and no cgi.

perhaps the predator should win at the end?

rated r.

as far as the hero i noticed arnold and danny are both fun to immitate so i would go with someone like that, macho but retarted.

nick cage?

since the original predator 1 & 2 actor died (rip) soon after pred 2 i would have not minded a female predator for the 3rd film with i suppose a female hero? as long as it was casted well and made right. not like it would turn out if it was made in the 2019's.

A prequel with Anna could have worked, I like the idea of Banderas and Rodriguez too!

Nick Cage would have been hilarious to watch up against a Pred too!

I always said that Bruce Willis would have been perfect for a Predator 3 film back in the day.

A Bruce Willis and John McTiernan reuinion would have been a dream ticket.
