Important to realise about Patlabor movie/animes..

I just wanted all you viewers and readers of Patlabor movies and manga to understand that Patlabor is a top anime not because of its fabulous robots or robot v robot action.

It is a top anime because of the very deep character development. There simply isn't any movie or anime out there which so authentically recreates the life of a policeman/woman in a world dominated by roboit technology.

And that is what patlabor is about. The pressure of such a life in the police force while also tryingto lead a normal life.

In that department, patlabor excels. After watching many episodes of this anime I have become chamred byt he wonderful characterisations of the heroes and heroines.
