Does anybody know who they were? I'm surprised they didn't include Venus (Thomas) in that list.

I only know one of the names. Richard Roland Livingston is the father of director/producer Jennie Livingston. He died the year before the film came out in 1990.

I was wondering the same exact thing after watching just now and found this question through a Google search. My guess is the names listed are the birth names of the people featured in the movie.
