Excellent [spoilers]

SPOILERS.

Michael Keaton does a fantastic job in his role, with the little screen time that he gets he manages to create the tension like nobody's business.

A lot of things can be learned from this flick - Make sure that EVERY person who's interested in renting one of your apartments signs a credit check, don't take any excuses no matter how charming they are. The way Matthew Modine's character handled the entire situation was ridiculous, lessons can be learned from this character to simply not react like that if an unfortunate situation like that happens or with any difficult situation for that matter. Also what can be learned is not to get your revenge, it'll come back to you one way or another, it isn't worth it, Melanie Griffith's character almost got killed because she got revenge. They could have sold the property when things started going wrong, but pride came into play, the ending shows them putting the property on the market so they could have decreased the stress by selling the moment things weren't working out.

Apparently Pacific Heights was made in 1989, but was released in 1990.

A great suspense thriller which is unfortunately not appreciated.
