patty parker or patty palmer?

So Melanie Griffith's character was called Patty Palmer through out the entire film. Here on IMDb, they list her character by that name as well.

But in the credit sequence, they have her listed as "Patty Parker"

Is this a massive goof by the studio or did I miss something about her character's name?
