Filmed on Potrero Hill?!

If you know anything about SF, you'll notice that the house and this film is nowhere near Pacific Heights (a western area of the city) but actually on Potrero Hill (a southern area of the city).

Why didn't they just call it Potrero Hill then!

This movie is lame.

potreto hill is not a very catchy title. Most people do not even know the suburbs of san francisco so it really does not matter. I love victorian style houses.

Neither Pacific Heights nor Potrero Hill are "suburbs", they're all within San Francisco and still quite urban.

There are still lots of Victorian's all around the city...it's just obvious that this film was not made in Pacific Heights since it has such a great view of downtown, which is something you don't have from Pacific Heights.

Movie retains its lameness

thank you for clearing that up jon. I went to san francisco for the first time last year and absolutely loved the city. Too bad, I cannot afford the rent. The producers were probaly looking for a location that had the downtown view. This movie could have been really creepy, so i agree with you.

so true, there is no reason to call it pac heights if it was not filmed here. i don't think most people know of either neighborhood as most visitors stay at fisherman's wharf or nob hill.

reply

true. it needed a name change.
