Some of the greatest acting ever?

After numerous viewings of "Opportunity Knocks" over the weekend, I have concluded that this may be some of the greatest acting I have ever seen.

What is everyone's thoughts?

Dana Carvey taking on two roles of completely different personalities (Think one as Milo, one as Otis) is Hollywood magic. I adore this movie, and I am currently the high bidder on the Laserdisc in an eBay auction.

Thank you, our Savior, for letting this movie happen.

Three personalities if you count the George Bush impression in the bathroom.

GOLD!

I've been watching this movie since I was a little kid and it's one of those sleepers that I love so much when it re-surfaces. Dana Carvey is lovable in this, especially with his impersonations and his love for Annie. It's a classic story, and it's been done, but I still gave it an 8 on IMDB. Very cute and I recommend it to those who haven't seen it.

This movie is just the cutest. I remember seeing the end of it on ACM and totally falling in love with Dana Carvey at that moment...and boy has it created a monster in me! I can't get enough of this guy, and this movie is certainly a good one! His Bush impression is just hilarious! And the bathroom scene!!! hahahaha!!! He's just brilliant (well, at least his character is :-P)

*sigh* So good to see good comments about this movie :)

If only people felt the same about The Master of Disguise!! I know I loved it XD Then again I'm rather fond of incredibly stupid humor..I mean, the little midget in the end cracked me up every time he said "I slap!" so obviously it doesn't take much to amuse me XD

I'm so glad that other people actually enjoy this film. For a while I thought I was the only one! This is easily Dana Carvey's best starring role, and a brilliantly funny romantic commedy that has a perfect balance of humor and heart that isn't seen in todays fill-in-the-blank comedies.I wish Dana would make another film!

My boyfriend quotes this part--it's so freakin' hillarious! you know the writer was thinking of him when they wrote the screenplay!

That is cool that your boyfriend quotes from the movie. Yes I think they definitely had Dana Carvey in mind when they wrote the screenplay all right.

I love Dana Carvey, so saying he was really funny in this movie is a bit of a bias.

I just recently bought the DVD of this movie for my boyfriend's Easter basket, as we have had a hard time locating a rental copy of this movie (I worked in a video store until last year, so I did my homework).

He was funny when he gave blood at the hospital. "Oh that didn't hurt...ow! ow! ow...(passes out)." My boyfriend and I love the part where he tries on the yamakas (I know I spelled this wrong!) while watching "Fiddler on the Roof."

YOU ROCK DANA!!!!

The scene when Dana spoke in the voice of a Chinese person was hilarious! "Uhhhh...what you want?" LOL Sounds like my uncle, he has a really bad Chinese accent.

If you haven't already, you must see "Master Of Disguise"!!!

I realy like this movie and find it very funny.

Love this movie so much. The accents by Dana Carvey are awesome. He is so great-- just adore him!

That was sweet of you to buy a copy for your boyfriends Easter basket. I am sure you had a great time working in the video store because that is something that I have always wanted to do was work in one due to how much I love to watch movies.

I picked my copy up at a video store where I live that sells used DVDs, Blu-rays, music cds, video games, and video game systems. I picked up my copy at a reasonable price.

Yes Dana Carvey is hilarious especially when he does his voice impersonations of famous people.

Add another to the list. 5.6? Cmon IMDB.

I'm picky with movies, but ever since I was a kid this is one of those movies you have to like. Any time it's on it gets a watch. I love Dana Carvey. He never did get to see his full potential while hacks get to every day. It's a shame.

This movie isn't perfect, but it actually had a heart too, which is rare these days.
